MinuteBox is marketplace for users to buy and sell skills online in their spare time. We aim to create a large expert network. Our users can then either monetize their skills flexibly or get advice and help instantly and cost effectively.
To build and grow MinuteBox weʼre looking for someone to join us as one of the founding core team and realise our ambitious plan. Specifically we need someone who can or have the potentials to take a lead with the site development. Itʼs not just skills we need. We also need creativity and commitment.
Creativity to refactor our code or come up with the best widget a website has ever seen. Commitment to working for a startup. The hours are the hours we need you. The offices are wherever you can communicate and develop from. The remuneration is a project waiting to be kicked off.
You may be an experienced IT guru, who does not trust a job can be stable forever.
You may be a fresh bright computing graduate who wants to get a challenging project to shine.

• good html, css, javascript, ajax skills
• strong PHP5 skills
• including object oriented areas (php classes and objects)
• good knowledge and understanding of "Smarty" templates
• includes good knowledge of templating structures, and the importance of separating
page design from code
• strong mysql5 experience
• including SQL query scripting and database administration via phpMyAdmin
• mySQL stored procedures
• phpbb maintenance
• strong understanding of plugins and template structure
• general apache2 webserver and SSL knowledge
• familiar and comfortable with subversion use
• xslt knowledge
• Adobe Flex, Actionscript 3
• Cairngorm advantageous but not necessary
• familiar with Red5 Streaming media services
