A month ago, we launched our V2 Beta site. I have received some comments from users complaining that the site is quiet. We understand that a marketplace like MinuteBox is not so useful to users (buyers or sellers) until the site is populated, and we are extremely busy working on that. Probably it is not a traditional route, however we are convinced it is a good route for MinuteBox and our users.
The route we are choosing is actually finding industry partners to work with us. How does this work? We are quite confident of our website and the technology behind it. We know technology changes rapidly. Therefore, we aim to focus on the technology behind the website and platform. We then form partnerships with industry partners, so they can populate the site, grow the community and promote MinuteBox to their target users. In short, we are working on a improving our platform/website for our partners to grow and prosper.
It is also a good thing for our users. The partners we are in touch with have strong communities in their fields. Once the partnership is formed, they can easily leverage their existing communities and populate our marketplaces in a very short time.
At present, we are talking to online professional business communities such as management consultancy firms, a large psychic company, a coaching company and more. We are pleased to report that the new model is attracting interest from potential industry partners. Many of them see this as a good way to expand their own business portfolios.
Again, we apologise to our users. Perhaps the website traffic is not very high at the moment. Please be patient. We will work our fingers to the bone to get partners on board as soon as possible. We are confident that it will not take long for you to see a busy Minute Box. :)
